Ben mentioned that he frequently buys small gifts for his younger brother whenever he shops.

However, things took a turn when Ben excitedly showed it to his father.
His Father Became Furious
Ben’s father, a conservative Christian, was furious and expressed his concern about the shirt and the message it might convey.
His Father Gave His Reasons
He said that Ben was going to “put an image on him” and that they needed to “stay away from that stuff.”
His father said that by buying the shirt, Ben was “taking away his innocence.”
