Joe Biden has spent considerable time at his Delaware summer home during his tenure in office.
According to reports, he spent around 300 days at this property during his first 1,000 days as Commander-in-Chief.
The Timing of Purchase
However, what has raised eyebrows is the timing of his purchase of this house.
Joe Biden purchased the Rehoboth Beach home as a private citizen shortly after his vice presidency ended and when he appeared to have abandoned the idea of running for the presidency in 2016.
Paid In Cash
What made the transaction even more suspicious was that he reportedly bought the property for under $2.75 million in cash.
Hunter’s Chinese Dealings
The suspicious timing of the home purchase coincided with a questionable text message from his son, Hunter Biden, to an associate at Chinese oil giant CEFC, Raymond Zhao.
The Threatening
In the message, Hunter appears to seek a deal worth $10 million a year and threatens Zhao if the commitment is not fulfilled.
Biden Was Not With His Son
While there is no concrete evidence that Joe Biden was physically with his son when the message was sent, metadata from photos obtained from Hunter’s laptop indicated that he was at his father’s primary residence in Wilmington on the same day.
Investigating Hunter Biden’s Foreign Business Activities
This purchase has drawn the attention of Republican lawmakers, including James Comer, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, and Senator Ron Johnson, who have been investigating Hunter Biden’s foreign business activities.
President Biden’s Involvement
Comer said, “The House Oversight Committee will continue to follow the money trail to determine the extent of President Biden’s involvement in his family’s influence-peddling schemes and its impact on our national security.”
The Corruption of the Biden Crime Family
Senator Johnson said, “The corruption of the Biden crime family has been obvious for years. This is just another piece of evidence that will probably be ignored once again by most of the mainstream media. It also underscores the imperative of obtaining all the bank records from all the Bidens who have benefited from Joe and Hunter’s gifts.”
Biden Was Ever “In Business” With His Son
The White House has denied that Joe Biden was ever “in business” with his son. However, it has stopped claiming that the two never discussed Hunter’s foreign business activities.
The Records
Property records show that Joe Biden’s second property was purchased on June 8, 2017, for $2,744,001, just seven weeks before Hunter’s controversial messages.
Notably, no mortgage was registered with the sale, indicating that Joe paid for the home in full.

Several social media users shared their thoughts on the incident.
One user wrote, “Man, I wish I could pay cash for a luxury beach home. I’m in the wrong profession. I should have worked for the crooked government.”

Another user added, “Biden said, ‘Where is the cash?’ Well, we know where part of the cash comes from, and the source of the rest will be found soon.”

A third user commented, “Joe probably had the money sitting in the back of his garage where he also likes to store classified documents. The timing with Hunter’s Chinese business partners was just a coincidence. Besides, Joe only talked about the weather with Hunter’s “business” partners.”
