Highlighting an instance from the video, a young child named Rose states, “My name is Rose. I’m a transgender girl. I was born a boy, but I always knew that I was a girl.”
Her father went on to explain that Rose used to send notes to Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy, wishing to be transformed into a girl.
Adult Perspectives
The video also showcased views from adults. One trans-identified man remarked about his dreams as a 3-year-old, which included becoming a father and marrying Janet Jackson.

The DEI video tries to capture the perspectives of others who identify as “non-binary,” attempting to show that they don’t conform to traditional male or female gender norms.
Kaiser Permanente’s Response
In an attempt to address the brewing controversy, Kaiser Permanente swiftly issued a statement to Fox News.
They made it clear that while the video may have featured young children speaking about their gender identities, it did not advocate for or allude to any medical intervention for children of such a young age.
