“As I’ve said since I launched my campaign, I’m running for president because I think this country is in a lot of trouble,” he said.

He seeks to assert this philosophy through a series of policy changes he aims to implement immediately upon taking office.

He promises to take on what he labels the “transgender agenda” at the Department of Defense immediately upon assuming office.

This includes bringing back the Trump-era ban on transgender individuals serving in the military.

At the Fox News debate, Pence used his faith to defend his decision to deny Trump’s demands that he refused to accept votes certified by states.
