He had lost his house, was on the brink of losing his wife and daughter, and had no job, income, education, or friends.
They Hit It Off
The mutual friend who introduced them thought they would get along because of their similar interests in sports, music, and games, among other things.
And they did hit it off pretty fast and became good friends.
A Good Friend
She tried to help him in any way she could. She helped him get a job and a side hustle that could earn him a few extra bucks.

In no time, he was able to afford a simple house to live in, and things were starting to look up for him.
Happier
His wife was happier, and his daughter even got an art kit as a present and kept on drawing every day!
A Rude Guy
However, her new buddy had a pretty major flaw – he was a really rude guy.

If you said something he didn’t like, even if it was true, he’d get mad and throw insults at you.

But since he never acted that way toward the original poster (OP), she didn’t try and think too much of it.
An Argument Gets Nasty
Fast forward to last month, the mutual friend who introduced OP and her new friend got into a fight with him over something trivial that had something to do with an online game.
Her new friend went crazy over the matter and almost threw fists at their mutual friend!

OP felt better after cutting ties with her toxic friend, and she didn’t regret it one bit. She knew that sometimes, people bring their misfortunes upon themselves, and she was not responsible for saving them from the consequences of their actions.
In the end, OP realized that sometimes, letting go of toxic people in our lives is the best thing we can do for ourselves. It may be hard at first, but it’s essential for our own well-being and happiness.
