These reports emerged from a profile of General Mark Milley in The Atlantic, where Milley recounted an incident where Trump expressed the sentiment that “no one wants to see” wounded soldiers.

Milley said he found Trump’s attitude to those serving their country “superficial, callous, and, at the deepest human level, repugnant.”
Buttigieg Was Asked About Trump’s Comments
Host Dana Bash asked Buttigieg about Trump’s apparent disdain for service members, specifically referencing the incident where Trump questioned the presence of an Army veteran who had lost a leg in combat singing at an event at the Pentagon.
