Fast forward three years, and the lamps are still unaccounted for.
They May Be In Trump’s Resort
It is now believed that the lamps may have been packed along with the former president’s belongings and transported to his Mar-a-Lago resort after he left the White House.
There’s No Official Confirmation
However, there is no confirmation that Trump was aware of the presence of these precious artifacts among his possessions.
Israel Had Been Trying to Get Them Back
The Israel Antiquities Authority has made multiple attempts to retrieve the lamps, reaching out to former diplomats with close ties to Trump, such as Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and Ambassador to Washington Ron Dermer.
Their Efforts Were In Vain
Regrettably, these efforts have borne no fruit, leaving Israel in a perplexing position of uncertainty about the fate of their treasured antiquities.
